Apple iPad - Not fit for purpose??

For those that feel I'm an Apple hater you are incorrect. My point in the opening statement was to highlight that no other retailer who puts themselves on the high street have such awkward arrangements when you wish to talk with some regarding a faulty product.
The reason for using this forum was to learn some useful advice from people who I presumed were more in the know on such consumer rights than myself, of which it turns out there are. It also highlighted that those who are not such much in the know, prefer to 'judge/second guess/read into' what the post was really about as a way to pass time. Can I suggest you do something more constructive with your time in the future?
I would like to also point out to the poster who posed the Windows question - If HP's, Lenovo's, Dell's etc badge was on the front on the item and they had a high street store then yes I would have seen them if I had a hardware failure. If it was a Microsoft Surface (pro/book) etc. then I would have been at a Microsoft store (should one exist locally). Apple’s logo is on the front, they make the hardware, the opsys, there are no other third parties using their components so logically the Apple store is the place to go when you have questions??
Once again thanks to those (you know who you are) for their constructive input.0 -
I used to find Apple stores great for getting appointments - used to be able to get one same day or next day.
Last time it took me 2 weeks, wasn't so impressed.0 -
Well done Apple thumbs up from me.0
