A bit of added reading on the subject, which provides a nice potted history of ISPA's involvement with WHOPLA and the BPA and perhaps why things have developed to the present situation.
http://notomob.co.uk/discussions/index.php?topic=5973.0Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

they seem to be pay ones, mind you I only looked at half.
They may claim that these sums will be charged, but they don't have DVLA access. So how can they pursue them?0 -
Does that still apply after 2 years?
Anyway some of the parks have pay on exit/anpr system so all charges would be correct and access to dvla would not be needed.

Well, I'm looking forward to reading ISPA's annual report....if there is one!
The annual reports have previously been published in August. The ISPA website says (although it is badly out of date) that the chair is required to include a statement that it is sufficiently funded. Given that is not the case then it is unlikely that we will see a report.Je suis Charlie0 -
The last report, (for 2015), was published on their website in November 2015 but it seemed to have been prepared in September of 2015, (as PE v Beavis is referred to as being still undecided).Aaron_Aadvark wrote: »The annual reports have previously been published in August. They are still far ahead of those who consort with convicted stalkers, like MIL Collections, The IPC, Proserve Enforcement Solutions (aka stephen Duff) and others.0 -
What a shame. I found Nicola to be very helpful, very personable and ultimately the consummate professional. None the less she is obviously a person of honour and she and her board have done what they believe to be appropriate given the circumstances. For that they have my respect.
I hope this is ultimately another nail in the coffin for the private parking system as we have it now. I agree that deterrence is needed for the public and private good. I also agree that a profit margin should exist for reputable companies who can make a sensible system work. However it is clear that the current self regulation and accompanying legislation are not fit for purpose.0 -
