Success - Croation Airlines

Hi All
Happy to report Success on a compensation claim against Croatia Airlines.
My Wife and I Travelled to Split in early July from LGW and the Inbound flight delayed by approx 4 hours. This resulted in late departure and arrival some 280 mins late.
I wrote to the airline and was informed that because of a Bird Strike and extraordinary circumstances they would not be paying me compensation. I replied that I did not consider a bird strike to be extraordinary and with this that in mind, unless payment was forwarded within 7 days then I would Issue Civil Proceedings.
The deadline came and went and accordingly a County Court Claim was Issued.
On the 13th September I received a full admission and a chq for the full amount accounting to 500 euros and costs.
