Oh dear a bit the same as here!

Nice night out last night my friend who does stand up was doing a gig at a lesbian event dg didn’t want to go but I met her and we had a good chat and then went to the gay bar. It was very crowded and a bit strange to have so many of one type of girls. Well it was good and my friend was great too and nice to catch up with things at old golf club.

Went to see gym over the road they will drop the price to £36 which is better you get one free PT session and there are some small classes four times a week. Could be an option got three day pass to try it out.

Had a few beers Friday but now no drinking until December. Shame as I would have liked a few in Manchester but not to be. Going out for brunch and also getting shopping for lunches and roast dinner tonight. Golf later flat all clean and tidy and meter readings done so all is well. :j

Conference was great saw loads of familiar faces and managed some good old chats with people from my old company it was good kind of closure which should have happened ages ago and they now know about my current life.

Made some good contacts and got enthused about IT and systems again. Looks like I’m going to be working with organisation dream job is based at which is well handy.

People I went with from work were lovely and CEO and I got on well.

Tired tonight not going to stay up late just had my bath. No spend for today only spent on a coffee yesterday. Back to work tomorrow interviews by the looks of things.

Morning finally time for an update been busy at work and slightly tough but I’ll get there. Need to step up and me strategic again but with new post being recruited internally I won’t get someone in place for a while so that’s making it more difficult. Saying that I’m enjoyed doing the work I do now. Will chat to CEO on Wednesday when I have my one to one.

DG and I asre now on a week of strict low carb eating, minimal snack, only two cups of tea/coke and gym/Golf. We had a lovely relaxing Saturday and got all our shopping lists updated (bought the upgrade to our AnyList app) £13 but it’s really good also created a list of everything in the freezers so when shopping it’s easy to see what we have. We have also created a list of toiletries as we buy them bulk.

The weeks diet will be good I think I also want to come down on the caffeine currently drinking my first caffeine free tea tried it for my latte yesterday it was fine. I drink a lot of tea so hopefully this will help. No alcohol either which is fine did have some low alchohol beers yesterday and Friday.

Went to Lidl which is so much cheaper than smaller local to us supermarkets. Spent £100 but there was a £17 kettle and a lot of other stuff so not too bad.

I didn’t spent anything yesterday but during the week I was bad due to only having brought in lunch twice but I was at that conference for two days. I’ve managed to get the wasted money pot up to £2400 and still have £700 left in my account. I will need to buy flights which are stupid money at £400 and of course Christmas presents.

We didn’t win our parking fine appeal so now have to appeal again. We will get £130 back for the council permit we bought and we’re not paying the fine.

Only got £65 & £95 back from old Guardian company which is not what they agreed to. Dg has sent them pre action letter and told them we will go to the council. If they are trying to win the contract again then they migth not want that. Don’t think we will go down court action but worth pursuing a bit.

Happy to live on our own no sharing and having heating and hot water is worth it. Today will be playing some golf been far too long which is crazy when we’re members.

Decaf tea isn’t that great might have to have one of my two cups soon. Hope you all have a lovely Sunday.

Day 2 of two cups of caffeine tea and eating low carbs doing ok so far it’s the snacking after dinner that’s hard. Managed to play six holes of golf nice to get out in the lovely sunshine and dg didn’t go into meltdown which was nicer.

Busy week at work lots of meetings this is the week I relinquish operational lead and go more strategic I feel. We shall see how it goes needs doing.

Meeting at ten this morning near the station I get off for work so not worth going to work first. Same Friday so later start too but meeting at 4pm in the Centre of London so will be home a bit later. Emailed gym for three day pass hopefully we can start Tuesday. Some good groupon offers on Pilates and yoga as well as bootcamp just so far away I fear we won’t go. Let’s see how gym is want a super discount if we are to sign up as there are no classes.

Should be cheap week as not allowed any snacks at work and I’m taking lunch in everyday.

Wow thanks for that link really good definitely slipped into some bad habits carbwise need to read that guide properly.

Home and tired still not started three day trial hopefully tomorrow. Would be good to get back into it still not convinced that gym is any good but if we get it cheap enough might be worth it.

One to one at work went well she’s happy with me I’m happy with her I can see my future job but a bit bugged down in operational stuff and need to shift it however short staffed as new recruits cannot start until mid January as they are internal and their replacements cannot start until then.

Money wise still doing well taken lunch to work every day this week but bought some nuts and raisins today needed a lift.

Bank account still looking healthy but need to but Christmas flights and they are £400 should be a lot lot less but it’s christmas and I didn’t book them earlier. Also need to buy presents so won’t be able to save anymore this month I don’t think.

Dg is speaking to a friend on the phone I’m really tired but too soon to go to bed. Done big Sainsbury’s order had £12 off £60 and £9 of money off from previous substitutes. Makes it cheaper and we can do a bulk cook Saturday without having to go shopping freezers are quite full but will eat out of the freezer tomorrow should help.

We got our money back from !!!!!! old Guardian company so pleased £366 had given up getting it back so handy to have a solicitor to hand when needed.

Been good diet wise still no gym will do trial next week so hopefully see results soon. So tired had to see client today as my colleague had half a day so she cudltn stay when the client was late and it was a really vulnerable client so glad I got to see her.

Two meetings back to back and in different locations tomorrow so will be in a real rush to get from one to another. Then I must catch up with work as quite behind also need to do write up for case.

Can’t wait for the weekend need to book Christmas flights hoping there will be something for Black Friday would be nice. I work close to a big shopping centre thinking of having a look after work there is an apple shop and I want to buy dg an iPad for Christmas. Apple don’t usually reduce things but migth so a voucher offer. We shall see.

Hopefully I’ll sleep well tonight I think I will been a hectic but good week.
