I've never had to deal with this before and I haven't got a clue what any of it means so thank you! The other vehicle is a works van so I haven't got a clue who was driving that anyway and I doubt they'd remember from June!
So who is the registered keeper of the works van?
  • So once I've read through I need to send a letter for both vehicles denying liability to Mr Michael Schwartz at the legal team at Civil Enforcement Ltd?
    Thanks

Yes - if he's the person who sent the letters of claim. You are getting this now - just be careful not to write about the driver/what happened re the parking.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Not sure if any of this matters now as I can't 'appeal' but one of the letters say carpark at ....... and a street name, not KFC. Also, the person I was with, for the same amount of time hasn't received a fine...

Thank you, I'll try to get a letter put together

Nor have you...it is not a fine. It is a private invoice, an unfair demand.

I would save the detail about the car park for any court defence and keep it simple right now, just respond - deny liability as you are the registered keeper and the driver will not be named - and give the new address to ensure all future letters come to you quickly.
