Yeah, someone needs to wear pumps/daps/plimsolls. Or not wear them (it's one way round on here and the other way round on mumsnet and I can never remember which it is).
We may not have it all together, but together we have it all

I suggest you Google 'plain black Dunlop Converse' then.
Note the spelling of 'converse'. It's not 'convorse'.

Good luck with finding the right school shoes'for your son.
I'm sure you'll find exactly what you're looking for at ShoeZone.
  • I know where to buy them there sold in sports direct.

    It's "they're", a contraction of "they are".

Dunlop and Converse are two, completely separate, brands - worth knowing when you hit Sports Direct and Shoe Zone.
  • I know converse and Dunlop are different brands. And what about shoe zone ?

Not according to your earlier post where you said:

And don't act all coy about Shoe Zone.

He hates wearing a tie and blazer so he's happy the school is changing the uniform

But this was apparently a world-scale political issue on the other board you posted this on last week!
  • I have never posted about this subject before.
  • I am not sure what the point of this thread is? If the school is making a new uniform compulsory, the only way you can argue the point is by changing your son's school. Which would definitely mean a totally new uniform, possibly with expensive blazers, ties etc.

If your son isn't too thrilled, (I doubt he is bothered to be honest but he may be picking up your feelings), then just take the view that change is something that young people are a bit reluctant to experience but tend to get used to new things very quickly.

As to the expense, just buy a couple of tops if you have to and build up over time.
