Im just confused by the 'my son isnt going to be thrilled' bit.

Why does that matter, if its the uniform then its tough if he is thrilled or not.

I can understand you not being thrilled about having to fork out money again but as your son isnt paying why should he be bothered.
  • The old uniform is shirt tie and blazer combination and the new uniform is school jumper and school polo shirt combination

He hates wearing a tie and blazer so he's happy the school is changing the uniform
  • I am no grammar police. My use of punctuation and spelling is not great but it is amazing how quickly the sentence - I'm not sure my son is thrilled changes when a full stop is used. I'm not sure. My son is thrilled.

Thank you for this - I got the wrong end of the stick completely and couldn't understand why her son preferred wearing a tie.

I thought it was your niece that wore the tie and blazer and 'strict school shoes' and your son was already in the cheapo one?
  • No I haven't got a nice so that post wasn't from me
  • Sorry to jump on the grammar police bandwagon. But this is not a texting forum but one with full sentences and punctuation to make it easier to understand. I'm not sure. My son is thrilled. That was a good example.

Also "No I haven't got a nice so that post wasn't from me" should read:

No, I haven't got a niece, so that post wasn't from me.

Sorry to be so pedantic. But that first post is missing a few commas, full stops and has spelling mistakes that make it hard to read.

Sorry, this probably belongs into the What is irritating you 2 thread!

    Awww.

It's the dreadful spelling and poor grammar that gives her away every two weeks :)
  • Sorry about the grammer and spelling :-(
