Cheapest way to travel to Brussels

I may be taking a trip to Brussels in the next few weeks (nothing certain yet regarding dates) with accommodation provided. All I need to know from anyone here who travels regular is what is the cheapest way to travel from Cheshire. Manchester and Liverpool airports are nearby but will it be better to travel by rail ?
I would just appreciated the help from a more seasoned traveller who has experience so I will at least have a rough idea of costs.
Thanking you in advance.

Ryanair has some good prices from Manchester to Charleroi if you avoid October half term.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

If you can't get one of the cheap flights richardw mentions then it will probably be worth looking into getting a flight to Amsterdam and getting the train from there - when I did that it was much cheaper than a direct flight to Brussels.0

Agree with the Amsterdam route. The train ride to Brussels isn't all that bad and it's saved me a few quid over flying direct more than once.- James0

I am needing to go next week, either Wednesday or Thursday and looking at prices as little as £18.69 each way I don't think I would bother looking into getting the train.

Quite the opposite I found. A return trip was £354.22  A bit more than Ryanair £18.690 -
Man-CRL with Ryanair, a quick search showing a number of £7.99 flights for two weeks time.0

many thanks for all the help here, especially the £7.99 tip off. Booked and with 3 day parking (£28.00) at manchester (Ryanair deal) the whole trip will cost £60 which is amazing. It would have been even cheaper if I had my return flight for £7.99 but had to leave that evening which came to £22.09 which is still cheap. No idea how they can afford the juice to send me over for £7.99 which is cheaper than a train to Manchester. The only thing is the shuttle bus will cost me around £25 return trip to Brussels centre from the airport but I can't complain

Not to shizz on your bonfire, but Belgium is the most pointless country on earth and Brussels the most pointless city.
There are some amazing places to be found within Europe, none of which are in Belgium.0 -
