HI any help would be appreciated
booked flights from manchester to new york in as a birthday present for my elderly mother, these were booked through British airways but were an american airlines code share. being direct they were perfect, taking age into account especially
now these flights have been cancelled and we have been re booked onto rather less convenient flights via heathrow. Do i have a likelihood of compensation?
many thanks

If they gave you more than 14 days notice then you aren't entitled to compensation.
Article 8 of EU Reg 261:2004 gives you explicit rights to re-routing, if you can find a better alternative, ask to be put on it.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
