    But you insist on a wired aerial, i think lots of phones have a small antenna jack under the battery cover, i know my galaxy s2 does as shown here :-

    Galaxy s 1-4 has this - not sure about other brands

    Not a case of insisting it is case of requirement to boost signal - with out it tends to drop out a lot or just be no signal, with an aerial realiabilty is improved greatly.
