Wow! You got £35 for pointing that out to Lloyds Bank. How silly they are to have such old banking machines. In 2009 I visited Cape Town and I was nervous of being mugged. Inside a shop I found a cash machine. I put in my debit card and I didn't get any money. It scared me when a banking slip came out. A shop assistant kindly took me over to the bank. There I was able to get the money needed to pay my accommodation.0

And.... a la Terry Pratchett, the verruca fairy and the hair loss fairy who comes to weave mats from the hair in your shower and leaves them in your plughole overnight.
If i remember correctly, Shredder was a character in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ?0 -

The supermarket I work for also uses Windows XP for their self-service checkouts.
Always think of Madonna and Ray of Light (from the adverts at the time) whenever I hear it loading up.
Mind it runs a lot faster than the Windows Mobile (think it's version 6!) loaded onto their PDAs!!It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0 -
I really can't believe that there is nothing better to do with one's life than make a complaint like this.
Some people just have far too much time on their hands.0 -
I was in the Carphone warehouse last week and pre-ordered an iPhone 7, and the lady there showed me something on the computer that was also running on Windows XP. I said to the lady "Wow, you're still using Windows XP?" And she looked at me daft and completely avoided my comment.
I guess a lot of places still use it. I never thought anything of it until you just reminded me that it's not supported by Microsoft anymore..0
