Are these broadband providers any good?

I'm coming to the end of my contract with Plusnet which is standard broadband and their not giving me much of a good deal so I'm thinking of changing to another internet provider. I'm thinking of spending under 20 pound per month.

Here are a list of broadband providers which I need to know if there good and reliable and any others if any good.

EE broadband
Tentel
John Lewiss
Directsave

  • I moved from BT to Origin 15 months ago. Excellent 100% UK based service. On their 76mb fibre package. I get 65mb generally down a Max 69 mb line. Never had a drop out. Cheap packages available and very good upfront line rental deals. Been with BT, Sky and Talk talk previously but Origin so far have been far superior. Wish I'd changed to them before.

I concur. Very happy with Origin Broadband. Been with them for 16 months. My advance line rental works out at £8.33 per month. Also on 76mb fibre package - had speeds of 60-65 and no problems whatsoever.

My last provider, Plusnet were just a horror story.
