Ah right - sorry - I assumed that because the tax credit low payment meant that you had jusst the one.:) I get it now :) Still half asleep me thinks.

How long will you be paying it back for? Do you know when this is expected to go up again?

    Hi

I'm no expert and more of a lurker but I've calculated your monthly income as £2332.50 which should leave you with £161.50 after paying all your outgoings.

I got your income figure by multiplying 'My Income' by 13 (= 52 wks in a yr) and dividing by 12 (months)

'OH Income', 'Child Tax' and 'Child Benefit' I multiplied by 52 and divided by 12.

If I've interpreted your income and worked this out correctly (a strong possiblity I haven't!), this means you're not in a minus each month and extra money is going elsewhere.

It may be worth starting a spending diary. You haven't included figures for Xmas, car servicing, car tax, clothing, birthdays, etc in your SOA. Maybe this is where your extra income is going?

    Wow, impressive!

Then I would recommend a spending diary as the money I worked out you have left over has to go a long way on the other bits you didn't include in your SOA. Have you anything you could ebay?

    Oops, cross posted!

455 x 13 / 12 = £493 a month then which then leaves you with just over £120 a month over. It's looking tight but if you can reduce your cccs, make some money on ebay and be ultra careful it may not look so bad.
