Multiple Ticket's Residential Estate Link Parking

Hi Guys,
Long time lurker of these boards, I've read and digested the newbies thread and done plenty of searches on the relevant subjects. I've also been on pepipoo.com and read the pranksters blog with specific relevance to Link/Gladstone court rulings(even found a case in my local court concerning them!!).
Some background: A Similar story to others here; The management company of my residential estate has employed the monkeys that are Link Parking to issue tickets in our area.
I haven't got one personally, but feel ready to fight them in the appropriate manner as laid out in these boards if I do.
However, I do have a speculative question.... Another resident has clearly gone on holiday and left his/her car in a position that Link don't like, and is up to 8(!) tickets on his windscreen and counting.
Does number of tickets affect the likelihood they will go to court?
I was thinking of trying to catch him and give him some advice was all.

what does your lease say regarding the car park?
if you want to fight them, your lease is key. From the Plain Language Commission:

To answer your question about the number of tickets, yes it increases the likelihood of court if there are a substantial number of tickets, but that all depends on the parking company.
If I were you I would do the decent thing and leave a note on the car telling the keeper to come here. Take a picture of it in position in case it gets removed by person or persons known.
In addition, if you know the address of the keeper, put a note through their door.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Cheers guys.
Yeah I've seen previously that the lease can be the key to fighting these residential tickets.
Cheers TheDeep, Yeah I've read 2 of those links before. Interesting Milton Keynes article though, that's a new one on me.
I've had a look at my lease and the parking segment is vague at best. The estates management company has used this vagueness to say that you aren't allowed to park on the road. I'll put the exact wording in this thread in the future as I don't have it on me.
I was going to leave a note on his windscreen, but thought the Link monkey's word remove it so didn't think it was worth it. I will try your suggestion.
It's been raining too, so as I walked past his car this morning, I noticed that all the tickets are frayed and disheveled. He gets one every 24 hours, so presume he/she's up to 10 soon.0 -
It would be worthwhile to make sure that the person being plauged with tickets knows about the scam before panicking.
If you know the owners address you could also remove the tickets and post them through his door, complete with a note and an explanation marked URGENT, and then maybe cover His/Her number plates and any other identifiable markings on the vehicleFrom the Plain Language Commission:

I've left an envelope under his wiper. I pointed him to some useful info and this board and threads and took a photo as suggested, so consider this thread compromised as I suspect the Link morons may open and read it.
Unfortunately I don't know where he lives, I've asked a couple of people nearby to no avail. Will keep you apprised of developments.0 -

Fear not, all the scammers read this forum, they need to know on a daily basis what is going down for them.
You really need to get all the residents together for a chat to the owner/landowner about the vermin called LINK
What say you LINK ????0 -
In fact, it is believed that some of us are being targeted by PPC stooges who try to get us banned by taking spurious offence at some of the things we write. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

Just checked and sure enough the envelope has been removed. Not sure what I can do now. Probably do some digging and see if I can speak to him direct.
Yeah we are complaining on mass to our management agents about them. Hopefully we can get rid of them.0 -
Sounds like theft.Rimmerworld wrote: »Just checked and sure enough the envelope has been removed.0
