I can tolerate a single bed but I am a large guy, when I was skinny it was doable but still a double means I can spread out more, I hate hanging over sides or bed and like to lie on my side and have slipped off single beds in the past before.

A nice thing about a double bed is that if it is hot you can swap to the other side to cool down a bit - a bit like flipping the pillow so you get a nice cool bit to lie on.

I think you might be over thinking this.

Except personally, I'd never go for a box room if I needed to put my stuff away etc. But that's just me.., I'm not good in small spaces (and I'm not large myself lol, just a personal thing).

Walking etc wouldn't put me off.., but again, that's me.

Like I've said already, if you are this unsure, it probably means neither room is right for you and you need to look for another. But you could ask yourself, if the other room wasn't available, would I be happy moving to A or B room to see if the comparison alone is killing it for you. You could wait and tell LL that you will keep in contact to see if one of the larger rooms in the house you like more becomes available.

Well its more both rooms are good but one house has no attachment for me and one has attachments but room is too small.

If the locations were flipped and the bigger house was in the street I wanted I would go for it but I would prefer a good size room in smaller house than big room in a big house as it feels more like a home to have a nice house which you rent a room rather than a massive house that feels too big.

And as I say its not the physical walking its more for mental health and memories I want to look out to a beautiful view and have a old fashioned chip shop and butcher on my doorstep that I can know my neighbours, sure I can know my neighbours at property B but its a tiny bit harder especially if cars are going past all all time.

The only thing I outright dislike about both properties is I find them sterile in the modern way, they ripped out the beautiful fireplaces and just plastered over the wall, every wall, door frame, skirting board is white and gray carpet.

Beds are all white coloured but brand new and high quality

I like character to a building and well maintained not shove white paint on the walls, a beautiful property that hasn't been painted in yeras has its own problems as well though.
  • Great if you can get all that but erm.., you are renting a room?

If you do get all that, its probably going to be a bit tatty too.., developers refurbing to rent rooms in houses aren't always into traditional features.
