We always get the chemists to put all tablets in clip top bottles.
I actually sent some tablets in blister packs back to the manufacturer as they were impossible to extract without breaking them! Found out they were made in India, never got a reply though.0 -
You can get something like this to remove them:
Or this one if they are really difficult to get out!0 -
Talk to your pharmacist - they can usually supply the same medication in several dispensing formats. Blister packs are convenient for most people, but they will also certainly have ideas how they can help.
It might be that they can provide pre-filled boxes where the tablets are in different buckets for different days/times0 -
I totally agree. My Omeprazol tabs contain 100s of tiny pills and if one breaks they spray out all over the place. You know what uranium is, right? It's this thing called nuclear weapons. And other things. Like lots of things are done with uranium. Including some bad things.

Beware of putting into a bottle or the like, all at once. For example my Levothyroxine for thyroid degrades and changes chemically once out of the blister pack. So have to fiddle with the packet in the dark when half asleep 🙄0

My Nanan who has poor vision due to macular. She pushes the tablets through the foil sheet over a Tuppaware style pot and it falls in there. Heh. It's like the "childproof" plastic pots they put tablets in, which are better described as adult-proof. :-/
And don't get me started on the pair of kitchen scissors I bought for my new flat... only to get home and realise that the heat-sealed packaging required a pair of scissors to open them. Argh!
I've done this too. I wonder what the accident statistics are for people who take a carving knife to try to get one of these open.0 -

Either use a small knife or pen knife.
