Technically you can't but I suspect they will let you0

Don't worry about it. It's on trade plates and the dealers insurance, looks good.
Too add- it doesn't say it isn't mot'd just that you get 12 months with purchase.0 -
On DVLA site it says mot Expired 1st sept, so how can I test drive it??0

In the unlikely event that you are nicked for no MOT on your test drive, the likely outcome is a £100 fixed penalty. There are no points for the offence.
I'd expect the dealer to knock the £100 off the price.
NB I am not in any way suggesting that you should knowingly commit a criminal offence.0 -
Make sure you ask about the service history of the car, lots of owners of the VAG 1.4 tsi twin charger engined cars have had issues with high engine oil consumption, some have had 2/3 engine replacements under warranty. Google 1.4TSI oil problems. Looks nice though. If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you! :dance:0
