Hoover washing machine E03 error

I suspect there may be an earthing fault with the heater, which may be why the machine is throwing the error - what happens when you disconnect the heater, does the message still appear?
Does the glass feel warm? Test this during your service wash, as it's the perfect chance to see if the heater has had it - but I don't really know how it would operate with an earthing fault.0 -
so after everything the fault is still there, though I now have a better understanding. it does its rinse as normal, then it drains as normal, but then it continues to want to drain even when there's no water, I think it then times out and gives the E03 error.
so the problem is that it does not spin in its own. after the error, I've put in on manual spin then it worked.
so all along I thought it was a drain problem but its a spin problem... I've not tried it without the heater but the heater works as the clothes are warm .
Thanks for all your help.0 -

Hi did anyone get a fix for the E03 fault on a Hoover Aristocrat washing machine.
I get fault code E03 because it continues to pump (drain) even after it has successfully pumped out the water. I.e its not being told to switch off.
I have tested the pressure switch as seems ok.
Clear pressure pipe confirmed.
Exchanged pcb with a spare and fault is still there.
Any ideas greatly appreciated.0 -
I've got the exact same E03 issue. Then sometimes the E16 error as well.
Hoover Dynamic Next - WDXAC6852B/1-80 (31007164) Washer dryer.
Recently bought a new pump thinking it was faulty and a replacement would make the E03 error go away. I was wrong. Cost me £27.
After reading this forum is seems the problem is a bit more terminal than that.
Would really appreciate if someone could tell me what part needs replacing. Control board? If so does anyone have a reliable link to it?
Thank you in advance.0 -

It's impossible to fault find over the internet, it could be number of things. Filter blocked, pump jammed, pressure hose blocked, pressure switch faulty, control board faulty......Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0 -

Bought and replaced the pump/filter. Checked the pressure hose and drain pipe for any blockages. None to report.
Some forums suggest that it's the heating element that needs replacing?
I agree, it's difficult to fault find, but perhaps someone who's had the same problem will be able to respond with a solution?:idea:0 -
I've got the same E03 code on a Dynamic next, only 13 months old and now out of warranty. I've checked for blockages, even had the sump hose off and everything looks clear. I'm thinking its the pump as its not draining at all after washing cycle, but I see someone has gone down that route and its not fixed it.
Anyone have a further update?0 -
I had error e03 on dynamic next, checked filter, removed blockage. Error would just repeat. Went through similar steps as described in this forum. Pump was working fine, no water left in drum but machine would not spin. Blew down pressure switch tube, checked for bubbles, all good but still e03. Solved by pouring 2litres of water in drawer and running the drain and spin program. This reset the machine and all okay since. I hope this helps someone out there! Cheers.0
