https://www.ft.com/content/4dfa4858-7668-11e6-b60a-de4532d5ea35Switzerland’s stock exchange has turned to Germany for a new bridge into the EU after concluding that its relationship with London would not suffice after Brexit.
“Post-Brexit, you’ll need equivalence with the UK and the EU [separately],” said Urs Rüegsegger, group chief executive. “London isn’t enough any more, you need a country that is in the EU.”0 -
No. I live in a part of the country with devolved decision making over the NHS, that pays it's fair share.
scotland RECEIVES more money per head than the English
It's not up for debate that we need immigration; our economy is in the crapper and they prop it up.
then there is no point in debating0 -
Keep a record of all these doom monger predictions of demise, and let's look back later on. Shivering doomsayers misunderstand Human nature and never ever learn from history.0

Amazing so many prospering nations trade into the EU no probz. Banks will flee to the highly regulated, intrusive unstable EU with years of potential referenda on the cards, lol0

Last year we produced 1,6000,000 cars, which everyone heralds as a fantastic achievement. Of course our record year for car production was 1972 when we produced almost 2,000,000.
Then in 1973 we joined the EEC (forerunner of the EU). 43 years on and we're still a few hundred thousand below our pre - EU days.
Isn't the single market wonderful.
Amazing how much better things were in the 1970s when Red Robbo and the Transport and General Workers Union were contributing to such harmonious industrial relations.Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.0 -

Deluded. What happened to the 350M going into the NHS every week. Not on the table now is it. What happened to immigration controls? The pressure seems to be to minimise this issue. I hear Liam Fox is changing his tune re. our much vaunted tiger economy as well. Its a deluded dream in his head and it seems in yours. Fact is most of us were perfectly happy with things the way they were. When the costs of Brexit start rolling in......the middle classes, who actually often like travelling to Europe without a visa will become more and more vocal.Yes lets look back later on.0
