Lots of flights to the Canaries from Stansted.

    There's http://siampark.net/index.php/en/ on Tenerife.

    hi,

i have a budget of within £ 2K, we want something where we can relax and if kids needs to enjoy they can enjoy in pools or kids play areas.

Our DD will be 8 and 1 in Jan, want to avoid Egypt/Turkey due to political unrest.

Is that budget the total for flights and hotel for all 4 of you?

I was going to suggest Cape Verde, but you'd be looking at flights of approx. £450 per person for that destination.

The OP refers to 'lots of sun' do you get that in the Canaries in Dec/Jan?
Yes, but on some islands only in certain areas. On Tenerife for example the north of the island has much lees reliable weather than the south west which has warm and sunny weather pretty well all year round.
  • sorry i should have been much clearer.

within 2000 K was for flights for family of 4.

I will say I want to be able to have whole holiday within 3.5K - 4K.

  • We recently did our 10 year wedding anniversary with Thomson flying Stansted to Mexico staying at Sensatori this was lovely and relaxing. The resort is on the beach but if you want to leave the resort your need to go on excursions/taxi etc as its not walking distance to anywhere. But if you want relaxing and warm weather then I would recommend here. Or Azul Five is nearer playa del carman which also looked nice (Was on our list of possible places to stay).
