Hi All,
We are planning our 10th Wedding anniversary in December, wife wants a place with some lots of sun and just relax there not too much travel once we are there. Kids will be accompanying us.
Do you have any recommendations and pointers on planning this tour brokers etc?

Do you want to be away for Christmas?
Where in the UK are you?
What sort of maximum flight time do you fancy?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
hi thanks
We will prefer to be away just after boxing day, possibly spending new year away, we are in Ipswich, we are ok with long haul within 10-11 hrs given will just be relaxing once there.0 -
Thomson (on Mondays) fly from Stansted for Mexico's Mayan Riviera, Playa Del Carmen is a good resort.
There are more options from Gatwick to other places such as the Dominican Republic.
If you want shorter flights there are places such as Hurghada and Marsa Alam in Egypt.
How old will your children be in January?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
How about Mauritius, it's 12 hours away but only a 3 or 4 hour time difference. I'd try to do all inclusive with kids there though as drinks in hotels can be pretty expensive.0

An idea of budget might help.0

If you just want to relax in the sun there's no point going long haul - somewhere like the Canaries would fit the bill.0

hi,
i have a budget of within £ 2K, we want something where we can relax and if kids needs to enjoy they can enjoy in pools or kids play areas.
Our DD will be 8 and 1 in Jan, want to avoid Egypt/Turkey due to political unrest.0 -
£2k total = £500 each. Probabably Canaries then0
