It seems a lot of money for an old model 7 inch tablet. I had one and thought the screen was just a bit too small. The Hudl at 8.3 inches is much better. My next tablet will be a 10 incher.
Choosing a size is personal preference - if OP has chosen 7 inch, suggest something better for £130. I'm not saying there isn't something better, just that I like the Nexus 7.Nope. the Nexus 9 is a better build.
Again, that's a 9 inch tablet, not 7. Just got a Nexus 9 for my dad - at £150/£160 on eBay, there's a solid argument that it's better value than a 7 right now, and it's suffering from being a bit unloved. But it's the wrong size!0 -
I loved my old Nexus 7 2013 but it got bricked by an Android update. I'd assume whatever problem caused that would have now been resolved though.
Screen size is a personal preference thing. The 7" was fine for me. I have an 8" tablet now. For what I use a tablet for I wouldn't really want anything more than that myself. It's full HD, 32GB is decent storage although it's not expandable so you can't fill it up with media if that's your thing. It was always quite speedy and before it bricked I had no issues with it.She would always like to say,
Why change the past when you can own this day?0 -
We have one still going excellent display, cant fault the speed of it either. Regularly gets updates too never had any problems at all with it. I also heard there maybe a new Nexus out0

The problem with having a 16GB Nexus 7 is that they don't have a micro SD slot and an OTG cable and USB pendrive are a bit untidy. Half of that 16GB will be taken up by the opsys and pre-installed apps. Start adding in updates to all those pre-installed google apps and the available storage starts to look pretty pathetic.gbp110 for a 16mb if gbp130 is too much0 -
I have had one from new (16Gb) and never had a storage issue. I do use OTG and USB stick for storage of (many) films if I want them, but the odd few are on the Nexus itself.
The 'rotation' sensor has stopped working, which I beleive is a frequent problem with these devices

Asus Zenpad ... GRRRR
Bloatware of the decade tablet and every time you need it to stay on and do something, it decides to update itself yet again.
Worst thing I ever bought, jumpy laggy graphics as well.
Not even in the same league as the nexus 7I do Contracts, all day every day.0 -
As always it depends on the user. I bought one for my grandson last Christmas when there were only 16GB ones on offer. Children seem to like to download lots of games amd the kids games all seem to be big. That meant that all his video had to be on an OTG stick and it was constantly full so he'd have to decide what to delete before getting a new game. Mind you it would have probably been the same with a 128GB one.Chickereeeee wrote: »I have had one from new (16Gb) and never had a storage issue.
