Hi,
Just wondering as Argos seem to have a new stock of the nexus 7 2013 32 gb for £130 is this still a good deal do you think?
I bricked my 2012 nexus due to problems in a loop at startup, tried to recover in the fast boot mode, unsuccessful, so tried a root with software I got on net, lost the fast boot screen and now can only get apx mode on it, totally bricked.
So I am tempted to get the argos deal.

There are strong rumours of a new Nexus 7 in Google's 2016 release announcement next month, so Argos are probably offloading stocks of the 2013 model. £130 is a fair price, whether it will drop further if a new model does appear is difficult to say.

Do bear in mind the Nexus 7 (2013) will not be updated to Android 7.0 NougatScience isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.0

Thanks for replies.
Not too worried about being updated as it seemed to slow the old nexus down.0 -

Not sure how you get a Samsung Galaxy Note 7 (launched 2016) with a Google (Asus) Nexus 7, launched in 2013, but there you go. No, it's not.
Still a great little tablet, and an excellent upgrade over the original 2012 Nexus 7 - far faster, adds a rear camera, and a lovely high resolution screen. Still one of the best 7" tablets you can buy IMO, especially if the screen's important to you. Argos did have the 16GB for £100 but maybe it's out of stock, and if it's going to get much use (apps, music, videos) then 32 will be worth it these days.0 -
It seems a lot of money for an old model 7 inch tablet. I had one and thought the screen was just a bit too small. The Hudl at 8.3 inches is much better. My next tablet will be a 10 incher.0

It looks good if you are after a small cheap tablet as it is at least full hd and will run marshmallow - im sure there are some cheap tablets that are still on lollipop! gbp110 for a 16mb if gbp130 is too much0

I've been on E-Bay all week looking for a broken 2013 Nexus 7 to fix up my Nexus 7.
Even the broken ones are going for £40 a time. so a new one for £130 is around the going rate untill a new one is announced.
Saying that I got given an old Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 which i fixed up and the difference in using the 10 inch tablet for a bit then going back to the Nexus 7.... the nexus screen feels sooooo tiny now!Laters

Nope. the Nexus 9 is a better build. Or you could get the ACER Predator 8 or Nvidia Shield instead.
The Asus ZenPad S 8.0 Z580CA too is quite good. But the LENOVO Yoga Tab 3 is pretty much the ultimate hybrid tablet - if you can find it for the £150 price.0
