A typical scam is to change the permits to another colour every year at Christmas and not give residents time to change the permits over...

Somewhere on here is a link to a news story about a lady who won in court on appeal; against a PPC operating in flats/a housing area as the imposition of a PPC was contrary to the lease of the flat/housing area, i think it revolved partly on right of access

  • Thanks for that link. Great to read that. There's plenty of food for thought here. We're getting armed up and ready to go in the coming weeks. Hopefully won't get to court though!
  • we've got all the residents meeting today from our houses and are making a plan. Best thing I've found yet is the paperwork from when we bought this house says we have no Legal right to park here but there is an INFORMAL right. so I'm hoping its like a verbal agreement made when the flats were built. Also got a solicitors letter going to the property management company asap to hopefully give them a fright :)
