Husband told his siblings yesterday about his redundancy. However they are both older and already retired as well as not having children . Unfortunately both my in-laws are dead but I will be making pickled onions to my mother in-laws recipe shortly.

Husband declared he was going to appeal by email at 3 am this morning. Have asked him to let me read the draft copy first. Not convinced it will make a difference but will make him feel better. Today went carboot on way to his brothers. Large caravan awning now drying there . Also acquired bag of dog food, and 2 knitting kits for daughter. I got dropped in Longton and went charity shops,got small cross stitch kits for daughter for 50p each. Went large supermarket and stocked up as toothpaste was on offer. Tea ready now slow cooker kebabs.

Not posted for a while. Have been reading though.

Finally had my hernia op a week last Thursday, got kept in overnight due to being ill off anastetic. Now on pain killers & rest. Not allowed to drive for another couple of weeks. Staff at hospital were fantastic. I'm not a very good patient though.

Ds2 moved back up north to go to college. It was what he wanted & is currently staying with his older sister(dd1). He seems happy which is good.
