Where do i stand?
Here is my predicament. I took out a new contact with EE through the Carphone Warehouse in January 2016 with a Sony Xperia Z5 Premium handset.
Now the handset had a problem with the headphone socket so i took it back to the carphone warehouseand they sent it away and it was repaired. This happened 2 more times and i eventually got a replacement phone of the same model about 1 month ago.
Now the new phone has the same problem and what i want to know is where do i stand on going back to the carphone warehouse and asking for a straight swap for a new phone (same or different)??
This seems to clearly be an issue with the handsets themselves so i dont really want to send it away for repair to have it happen again and again, especially when i am paying £40/month for the contract and a phone that is not working properly.
Any advice is massively appreciated.
Thanks,:)
Ben.

I doubt you have a right other than to accept another 3 repairs on the new handset. As you've discovered, CPW's repairs are a waste of time. If you ask nicely and get a sympathetic manager (aren't many of those in CPW) maybe they could offer a replacement of a different model/make (IF they do it will probabaly be a so-called "refurbished" - but since they are usuually new returned phones which CPW haven't actually tampered with that may be a good option) - but other than that, you're stuck.0
