We used the MSE offer on the Debenhams Currency Voucher to, what we thought, lock-in an Exchange Rate for Pounds to Euros, only to be told when we got to Debenhams that we could only have the Exchange Rate that was current at the time of changing currency. If it had been a better rate we would have printed-out a new Voucher and presented that, rather than present the one we had which was only 2 days old and at a better rate!!! Even then we were told that if we had printed the Voucher in the morning and gone into Debenhams in the afternoon we would only have been able to get the Exchange rate (might have been higher:D or lower:()at the time of changing currency.
So the question is; What is the point of the Exchange Rate Voucher?:cool::cool::cool:
Debenhams T's&C's:
Daily rate: ^Rates change throughout the day in line with market movements and the rate you receive in store may not match the quoted rates above.

It has taken about 4,500,000,000 (4.5 billion) years for the Earth to form as it is now .........
and it'll only take about another 100 years for mankind to really **** it up!!!!

I see that the rate they give for euros right now (as a "special rate for MSE customers!") is 1.1607 and the mid-market rate is 1.1817
I think I'll stick to Clarity, N&P, Metro Bank and Revolut...Evolution, not revolution0 -
The £5 discount on same-day in store purchase?
.... and the £5 discount to be spent, on the same day, on something you wouldn't probably buy anyway is?:cool:It has taken about 4,500,000,000 (4.5 billion) years for the Earth to form as it is now .........
