Definitely notice the difference between Lidl basmati rice and Tilda and Waitrose! The Lidl stuff even when thoroughly washed seems to clump together quite badly - sometimes goes mushy rather than fluffy.

I buy the Asda Easy cook basmati rice-in a red bag-its delish (prior to this i always used to buy the box standard long grain)-anyone else tried this/If tilda is better i will try it next time.
