Well the taxes would be £105 with BA, and £135 with flybe, so hardly a fraction!
Also, I would have to drive or use the train to get to London, so the added cost of that would actually be more than getting to Cardiff or Bristol, both of which are much closer.

Not on RFS they would not.

I don't desperately care if Avois personally don't work for you, but you aren't comparing like with like.

  • I said it was a joke in this instance, and it quite obviously is. I don't want checked luggage, and don't want a snack if I'm on a 45 minute flight.
As an aside, I actually have had much better experiences flying with Ryanair and Easyjet. Ryanair, in particulate is always on time.

The last THREE flights we've taken with BA have been an absoloute shambles. Our flights are always late leaving,- the last one in August by over I hour!!
They also ran out of coffee, and didn't have enough sandwiches!

    9'000 avios plus £35 rfs X 3 is 27.000 avios and £105.
I don't care, that you don't care that Avios doesn't work for me: I have explained why it is the case in this instance.
Why not stop replying to my posts.
  • I am very much looking forward to using Aer Lingus to fly to New York though.
Now that really is a good use of Avios. Minimal taxes, immigration clearance at Dublin, and best if all not flying with BA;)

That's fine but the products you are comparing are still different.

    Exactly.

Bought a BigMac at the weekend for £2 from my local McDonalds. Today I bought a fillet steak for lunch for £40, and I had to take the tube and a bus to get to the restaurant.

Complete joke and a utter waste of money.

Can't wait to have my fish and chips from my local chippie at the weekend though, and the best part is that it's not McDonalds - their chips are always cold.

we have three return flights (2+1) to Crete next August with Avios. Total hard cash outlay of £84, that includes 3 checked suitcases & on board food & drink.

Cost just for the flights with Ryan Air £1100.00
Private Parking Tickets - Make sure you put your Subject Access Request in after 25th May 2018 - It's free & ask for everything, don't forget the DVLA :D

I'd cut down on the red meat if I were you. Too much if it us bad for you:rotfl:
  • Recently booked return flights to Tenerife for March next year using Avios. Earlier this year I used Avios to fly to Madrid over a bank holiday weekend, and the year before used Avios to fly to Ibiza from LCY (usually LCY-IBZ is a pricey route).
