Another article from the Daily Mail about Private Parking Charges, this time Mr Schofield about AS Parking invoicing visitors without giving them a chance to collect parking permits:

Although the "F" word is used many many times :(

Resident Aaron Moore was angry after his parents received a ticket when their vehicle marginally covered the line of the visitor's parking area.
Mr Moore said: 'My family paid up because they did not want to get into trouble. I think it was over the top.'
That sums it all up - people think they are 'in trouble'! Not helped by the 'know it alls' who've commented - many not focusing on the issue, but just taking any opportunity to slag off Schofield. No doubt they'd just 'pay the fine' without a murmur? Yeah, right - they'd be squealing on here in a heartbeat.

The one comment that takes the biscuit for total irrelevance, with a strong hint of green-eyed envy:
The most important detail was left out. How much is her home worth?

    Closely followed by Bouncy Kev's:
Kevin McManus, the managing director of AS Parking, says his company is 'simply enforcing the rules
Failing to add 'My own made up rules, designed to catch out as many motorists as possible to generate as much profit for meeeeeee'!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I'm embarrassed to admit I know this, but the below is a Daily Mail in-joke, along with rating people for their 'sadface':
The most important detail was left out. How much is her home worth?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
