Why dont men listen?

I asked hubby to get me some carrots at the shop, what did he come home with? a ginsters pasty a paper and some loo roll. He doesn't forget the essentials so he can sit in the toilet for half an hour reading his paper:mad: i do sometimes think he's in there texting Margaret. Why dont they listen? I now have to walk down the shop just for a pack of carrots
Nuke'em :D

    I'm a vegetarian :(

Give him a shopping list ! In the early 1960's My mum used to send me down to the corner shop with the money rolled up inside the shopping list. Luckily I never lost anything.

lol i think its safe to say this thread didnt go in the direction the OP expected.

saying that my first thought just based on the title was along the lines of 'because you have nothing interesting to say'

that being said, i can understand how frustrating it is asking for one specific item and it not being got, but then again, i would be pretty shocked if the OP has never forgotten anything in their life, so maybe a little extreme reaction
    Drop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
    10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
    20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)
  • Why would he buy carrots? He doesn't like carrots. He likes Margaret.

I insist on writing my own lists for shopping, so it's in order as I walk through the supermarket, nothing worse then having to double back!
