Many congratulations to you all, there is nothing better than becoming grandparents, apart of course of becoming parents. Enjoy every moment

Thank you. Yes you're right, it has been really exciting, and she's only 5 days old. :D So much to look forward to, seeing her grow...

Huge congratulations to yourself and your family. Such lovely news. Your granddaughter is very fortunate to grow up with really loving grandparents. A special gift in every childhood.
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.

Congratulations! Watching the relationship between my daughter and my Dad (& Mum!) brings me so much pleasure. I was close to my grandparents and seeing my children have that same experience is very special.

I'm sure she will bring you much joy, have fun getting to know her!

Congratulations, Grandad! Every child should have a close relationship with their grandparents - it should be prescribed on the NHS!

  • What lovely news - congratulations to you and your family. I love being a nanna - my granddaughter is 20 months old and I look after her three mornings a week. It's lovely watching her grow.

I wish you and your family the same happiness.
