Which power tools are you talking about :rotfl:

    Oi! :p hahahaha
  • Just being able to have a long hot bath without someone moaning for the toilet will be a nice change eh :)

men aint all that, just look for bargains on the lights of ebay and vouchercodes.com maybe change your mobile to a pay and go instead of having a monthly bill get rid of sky and buy a "special box off ebay" cancel policys that you dont really need ect you will soon see the money coming back in :)
  • I envy you. I loved being single. I used to be so careful with money whereas living with my other half we have more money than ever but less money than ever (if that makes sense) :( I was happier, did more stuff, had more fun and went out more when I had no special other to share life with  . Crazy but true >.<

Oh and I do agree with the cereal thing. OH comes home expecting me to cook for him when sometimes I'm not hungry at all and I would so love to say I'm having weetabix, sort yourself out and yes your clothes are still in the laundry and your rubbish is still all where you left it :rotfl:

  • Why dont you use the freebies threads to treat yourself? You can generally get free cinema tickets each week (you get 2 so you can treat a friend for nothing too) You can also bagsy lots of cosmetic treats to cheer you up and I havnt bought a magazine in months and get at least 1 per month from the freeby site

:j I am in relationship. Have been for around 12 years. But have the best of both worlds. We don't live together (yet)! He stays over (sometimes) yet I am still single. Yeah great. Can't beat it.

I think that would be the best kind. I used to know someone who was married and they lived in different continents and only saw each other for 3 weeks every few months! that must be good!

Yep I think once you're living together, or married then It usually goes wrong. You tend to take each other for granted, because you're always there.

Hi Mrs baggins, does your hamster put on it's little jumper when it's cold too :)
Even though I am married, I feel as though I live on my own as my husband works permanent nightshift. He's home now, but we each have a laptop and look like Mr & Mrs Nerd sat at one end of the sofa each typing away. I think we communicate by email.

I wish you good luck. I've lived on my own before in the past, and must admit it was ok some days, but then if I got bored, I would nip to the local for a quick drink and game of pool, but was before I had the internet.
    xx

wow sounds like me writing this. So true, the more money we earn, the more we fritter it away and somehow, the more credit cards I get.
  • I read this thread with interest, I recently split up with other half of nearly 5 years. We had a flat together she was a leech to all our money. Every penny had to be spent. Towards the end she wanted to get a loan which I managed to hold off for several months. I nearly gave in to her and got the loan but then we split up. Thank God!!

I tell you what I'm rich now, my job is only just above minimum wage but I have so much spare cash its great. I am also making a second income on the net, I'm now at the stage I could survive without a job but I think I would get to depressed sitting on my !!!! all day.

I get the feeling it be a while before I'm in another relationship, I'm really enjoying independence!
