LBC from Gladstones Solicitors for a PCN dated 2013!!!

I cancelled my membership because of these issues back in June, if they were not IPC members in 2013 does that work in my favour??
They would have been BPA members in 2013 and under the BPA's Code of practice they would have to had issued you with a POPLA code within 35 days or otherwise your appeal is deemed to had been accepted.0 -
Is there anyway I can trace if this was issued?0
-
not unless you get an MCOL
I suppose it can be asked in any reply to the LBC , but dont expect them to be forthcoming
at court , they would have to produce documents and photos and evidence etc, so you would get copies , especially if requested
as mentioned earlier , they had to abide by the BPA CoP back then , including POPLA , and POFA2012 would apply unless you told them the drivers details0 -
Any suggestions on what I should state in my response?
Is it likely I can dissuade them from pursuing me?0 -
same response as in all the other similar GLADSTONE`s threads on here and on pepipoo , please read them
no , you have no chance of dissuading them , this is the real world and they are going to try and hang you out to dry, so get reading and learn the topic PDQ0 -

Same as all the zillions of other old claims, some from 2010/2011/2012 so your case is no different. Search this forum and pepipoo for 'Gladstones' and read some examples of replies people have already sent:

They are all pretty similar situations and they result in generic claims with no clear cause of action. Expect a court claim anyway, even if you respond (and you must, to look like the reasonable party). Read a few Gladstones defence threads and bookmark them in readiness.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

OK update!
So I responded disputing the fine and requesting copies of all alleged correspondence. I had a basic email back stating these would be produced at court. Pay up.
I again replied with a more detailed request disputing their practices etc and today I now received a court claim.
