Just started the Live chat now with Virgin. Noone seems to by typing??? WTH? Do you know how long it takes for Sky to install? Obviouly I wouldn't want to have it installed before the end of the 30 days cancellation with VM.

You decide when you want it installed and your 12 month contract starts from that date. I had the option of having it done within 2 weeks. I wouldn't bother with Virgin live chat, just dial 150 and follow the prompts to "thinking of leaving us" to speak to someone. That's all they'll tell you on live chat anyway.

Just cancelled with VM. Gave 30 day notice. They wouldn't bring the price down. They went on to say how Sky BB was rubbish. Phoning Sky now to set up and try to get same deal.

Update - Called Sky back, they originally said the deal was coming in at 48 a month. I said that if they can do it for the price I was quoted earlier I will go ahead and they honoured it. I don't actualy care now about leaving VM. This is a far better offer than anything they could do.
