Flat tyre

I once drove over a pothole on the motorway (driving at night + 70mph speed = didn't spot it in time). Didn't notice anything until 20 miles further and the tyre pressure warning light came on. Stopped at a service station and filled up the rear nearside tyre with air. You could hear the air rushing out. Swapped over to the spare. Had a look at the original tyre - there was a huge rip on the inside wall. You wouldn't have been to see any damage until the tyre was off. When neighbours were having work done on their house I found I was getting regular punctures due to nails/screws on the road.
Have had this problem too. Very frustrating.0
