    Week..?

Its more like every couple of days just now that someone posts a dashcam thread.

And the very idea of stickies is that they are the best way of keeping all the most up to date advice/suggestions all in one place.

So people will search for dashcam and find your sarcastic comments rather than actual advice?

Yet it seems to have worked as far as radio codes threads go. We used to get umpteen of them every day and many were missed/lost bcause of the activity of this board and not helped but now they virtually all go to the sticky - where they get the best help very promptly. Took a while though!

I fitted a mini 0806. It gives great video and the lead was long enough to fit behind the trim for a hard wire install. https://dashboardcamerareviews.com/mini-0806/

Where is this 'sticky' on dash cams. I have looked in the motoring forum and it's not there. Am I looking in the wrong place?

It is the first item that shows up
Sticky: Motoring board important threads including Ford radio codes

If you click on it, there is a single post with hyperlinks to the threads, dashcams are at the bottom.

Not exactly easy to find. The sticky title needs updating to show whats in the links.
  • Evidence recorded by them can be used against you in a court of law.
Police can and do seize them under pace in the event of a serious accident.
They can also use previous footage as evidence of driving styles.

The other side of the coin.

Drive everywhere bang on the speed limit and they are great.

I am using BlackVue DR650GW (2 channel), front and back.
All recordings are in HD with GPS location etc. Also camera looks more stylish and slick.
Comes with a power magic, meaning in a constant parking mode recording if the battery drops to a certain threshold it will turn it off so the battery doesn't drain.
Or can be set to record when you start the car, I have both ways.

Plus you cannot see any cables. Looks like a factory fitted camera.

If you want I can show you the sample video off my car.
