Upgrading phone, can i give the upgrade to OH?
Options
Hi,
Probably a daft question!
My OH phone has been broken for a while and as i'm due an upgrade on O2 I was planning to get a cheaper handset which would allow me to increase my data while having a lower monthly payment, but keep my old handset and give the new handset to my OH.
He is also on O2 but on Payg rather than pay monthly, would he be able to just carry on using his payg sim, and me carry on using mine with the increased data?
Sorry if its a silly question, just wanted to make sure it would work ok before committing to another contract!
Thanks in advance.

Yes just take your sim card out and put his payg simcard back in it.
You may have to change the internet setting to O2 payg if its got internet but everything else will be fine.Nobody is Perfect. I am Nobody, therefore I am Perfect.0 -
Not sure if the service still works OP but your OH may be able to text Settings to 2020 to receive the correct PAYG detailsIt's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0
