BG Winter Rebate Scheme

Did anyone here sign up for British gas winter Rebate Scheme??
if so, are you aware you have not received all they said you would, they said you would have a total of £90 in 2 seperate credits over 2006/2007, 1 credit in your last bill of 2006 and the next in first bill of 2007,
I have only recieved 1 credit on bill in March 2007, the next credit should have been on bill in June 2007, was told a error accoured and it will be on next bill, have just got that bill Sept 2007 and it is not on there, complained again and was told it will be on next bill.

What I would like to know is how and to who can I shout loud about this,
I am so mad, that British Gas can make such a promise to keep your custom and then do this.

Pleas can anyone help me.

I complained by phone and e-mail and recieved a call from customer service, full of excuses, but at least my accounts have now been credited with the rebate which I will get on my December bill, one year after so called 'promise'

I've only just seen your post, otherwise would have replied to your initial query & given you the phone number for the rebate department.

I had the same problem with this scheme last year & after being fobbed off by somebody I spoke to at BG, I then dug out the number of the department that deals with the scheme from the initial letter telling me I qualified for the rebates & spoke to somebody there.

He was very aplogetic & assured me my due rebate would show up on my next bill, which it did. I also received a letter of apology & the assurance that my rebate would be applied on the next due bill.

It does make you wonder if some people fail to notice that they haven't received both the due rebates over the 2 billing periods & are missing out.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.

Am I correct in thinking that the Winter rebate scheme is no longer in operation. I got it last year but I seem to remember that they were stopping it. Have they?

    Thanks

I've had no paperwork, emails, or any indication on my bills that they are doing it this year.

I may have missed it among the promotional blurb they send out - but last year the letter about the scheme came out on its own.

    Hang on...

    ...

    Found it.

    I just rang the number.

The winter rebate scheme is now closed.
