Renting eviction advise

Recived no deposit back and am still being persuid for more money reguarly. Private landlord and no DGS .Would love him to stop.
Did you give him a deposit when you first moved in? If so, he is obliged to return it to you, perhaps deducting the cost of putting right any damage that you may have done.0 -
1) Re the eviction - too late now. If he did not use a valid S21 Notice you could have contested it. You didn't. You chose to move out.
2) Re the repairs - too late now. There are ways to enforce repairs in a let property during a teancy. But not after the tenancy has ended.
3) Re the deposit.
a) was it protected? If not, you can claim a 3 times penalty. See link below
b) if protected, make a claim for its return in the proper way. See link below
c) if not protected and not returned without good reason, use the courts

Yep paid £800 deposit witch wasn't returned as apparently the cost of re doing all of my wrongs were more than this. And he also wants the money for carpets and fitting and money for what the £800 didn't cover. It's greed as I can say apart from the many things that I reported that wernt repaired by he landlord the house was in good order. Iv even been charged for a cupboard that his contractor broke years ago that I reported at the time. I'm not bothered about deposit anymore just want to move on so was hoping on some leverage to stop him.0 -
Counter sue him for your deposit.0

From what you've told us there's no way he should be withholding your full deposit. Depends how clean you left the place but accounting for a bit of cleaning you should still have gotten the vast majority of your deposit back. As G_M said, you should see about getting the deposit back. This landlord needs chastening otherwise they'll just treat their new tenants just as shoddily.
You say you reported that things needed repairing - do you have a record of that? If so, you're in a very strong position. I too have just moved out of a flat where the landlord ignored my reporting of broken things to him (electrics and crumbling plaster) and if he tries to withhold any of my deposit as a result he's got another thing coming!0
