Hi
Just wondered if anyone knows when I can buy an iPhone 5c for my son for xmas.
Iam after a brand new one but only the handset no contract.
The prices on eBay are ranging from £120 upwards but I don't really want to buy one from there as I know there is a lot of copies and if I'm paying a lot of money I need to make sure it's a genuine one.
The main shops I have seen these in are priced to high!!!
Thanks

If you are willing to sign up to a contract then you can get really good deals through O2 Refresh Direct with O2. 32gb blue perfect (grade A) is £8 x 24 = £192, other variations available. Read up on O2 refresh on here or elsewhere - in summary you sign up, take delivery, unlock (free), phone up to pay off device plan and cancel the airtime contract. All done in a few days and the phone is yours to keep and includes 12 months warranty.

Any on offer are either surplus old stock, or second hand.0 -
Thanks for the replies, I shall look into them ideas.
Anyone else know of any shops that are still selling?

Just make sure you don't get an 8gb one as they are useless.0

I agree that an 8GB one is a poor choice.0

I also agree the 8GB variant is also too low to be of any use (even with the various Cloud storage apps).
o2 are mentioned above; they are currently out of stock on the 16GB version but it is offered "Perfect As New" for £129.99. That's on PAYG rather than a PAYM Refresh tariff. It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0 -
I bought my son a 16gb version off ebay from a seller with lots of positive feedback. The phone is perfect but it had been reboxed. Works fine and is still going strong 12 months later!0
