Faulty Macerator pump

Before you send the faulty unit back to the seller, have you considered contacting the manufacturer to enquire about a warranty claim?
They may not be interested in dealing with you but there is certainly no harm in asking.0 -

Tried filling out the contact us form over the last 3 days but it is not working. The call cost is 25p per min minimumLoved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!0 -

If you send the item back, it'll be repaired and you'll then have two macerators??0 -

If it was a blockage, there is nothing in there, the filter is also clear on the washer.
Don't mind having a spare, for me it is more important that my tenant has a working washing machine in her basement within a weekLoved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!0 -

I asked him about cleaning etc and he said the new Saniflo will require it every 2 years
Husband has been and collected the old Easywaste. Having been assured yesterday that it wasn't a blockage and just a burnt out motor, on inspection today by us, it looks to be a faulty pressure switch.
It works manually so is definitely not a burnt out motor.
I would also add that we normally do all our own repairs to the property. The agent who we use decided to ring a call out company, that the agency use on a regular basis.
They fitted the new Sanivite yesterday evening. When my husband went to check it today, it obviously hadn't been tested as the jubilee clip wasn't fitted and the water gushed out.
According to the company, the engineers paperwork says it was tested and basically if we don't like the £400 invoice, they will come and take it out.!!Loved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!0 -

Just got off the phone from the director of the company.
He genuinely seemed gutted.
My husband is meeting with another plumber from the company tomorrow so he can re fit the old one. The one they ordered, is being taken back and just left in stock.
Ok here goes Moneyineptitude:o it looks like the fault was detergent in the pipe attached to the pressure switch!Loved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!0
