Day date then stay over?!

Be yourself no point already starting to wonder what is the right or wrong way to behave. At this point she could either be a free spirit who is planning on you coming back to hers smoking pot all night and crashing at 5am wherever you end up...or she could be very considerate thinking that you might like to make the most of the day since you are doing the long journey to see her and therefore want you to know that she arranged something for your convenience if you so wish to stay longer.

It's hard to tell without seeing the messages but it sounds to me like she's making it clear that you won't be spending the night at hers, which seems to be the opposite of what you're taking from it!

I think she is just covering all options, making sure you don't get stranded late at night.

Personally, I would be happier to stay at her house if all went well, than at her friends. Is the friend ok with this arrangement, or are they out of town, I'm not sure I would like to just stay without knowing, but I think you are overthinking the situation. Good luck with it all, please update us. I hate when these kind of posts just end and disappear!

Im a bit of a prude so this would be way OTT for me if it was a first date - Id book a return back for sure. What if you don't really get on in person and you're stuck there lol.

I've had boyfriends (even a couple I met through online groups who came from quite a way away) stay over before getting to the sex bit lol! I have a spare room, blokes have actually slept in it rather than next to me. Maybe they thought I was forward suggesting they stay over lol - you know what? I don't really care! If they think it's a bit forward rather than chilled they're not for me.

I'm quite liberal, carefree, open (possibly even left field/alternative/free spirit type)... but that doesn't mean I shag anything with a pulse!
