Thanks for your help all. I phrased the appeal as described, but also added a section about the fact a passenger needed to breastfeed a baby.

    Appeal refused.

    Any next steps advice...?

Did you get a POPLA code?

What have you done about complaining to the Adelphi? Have you researched sending a LBCCC to the Adelphi?

  • Hi, I haven't Pursued the Adelphi thing. They were in such denial about their responsibilities last time that I didn't know how to do it.

With regards to the PE letter, yes there is a Popla code. But if I contact them my charge will go up from 60 to 100 quid.

If you use the POPLA code and submit a decent POPLA appeal you'll be paying nothing - but you've got to put in the leg work and do plenty of research here. Use the forum search engine 'ParkingEye POPLA' to turn up many recent winning appeals.

Use the main points from them to start your own draft - then post it up here for scrutiny and advice before sending to POPLA.

Don't miss the POPLA deadline or ignore things entirely - PE sue!

    The PCN is already £100.

The 'discount' to a pathetic £60 rip-off, is a bribe to try to make you decide not to appeal. Most cases can still be won at POPLA so crack on with reading examples and show us your draft.

Was your PCN one that included wording about 'keeper liability' after 29 days under the POFA (in the paragraphs on the front) or does it have a blank space near the bottom?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
