    They are utterly adorable! :)

You do forget how much of a handful kittens are. My Alfie was almost 1 year old when he came to us and, even then, it was like having a toddler in the house. It was something of a shock as it was more than 20 years since we had kittens here!
  • The real way 2 save £s on feeding is raw.
I transitioned my 14yo this spring. Madam deigned her preferences to be lamb heart & turkey gizzards but I'm slipping in other meats. Her coat & general body condition is vastly improved & the added bonus is she's livelier in herself, lastly litterbox smells & contents are vastly reduced!
It is a FAFF but I'm really glad I've done it. I'm feeding ground eggshells for calcium (she won't eat bones) along with 1 fish oil tablet & either chicken or lambs liver. Lastly a small bit of tinned sardines in tom sauce. About 20% Butchers classic goes in each container (small 1s from Pound land) & I get Mum 2 save me chicken skin. 1 raw egg yolk a week.
Its 100% balanced. Check out Cats Raw Fed & Proud group on Facebook.
I did spend a lot of time researching prior 2 transitioning. Yes u do need 2 spend time chopping meat - I feed chunks as its better 4 her teeth & keeps nutrients better. Also setting aside some space in your freezer
