Yes, a decent saving but also knowing that they will definitely have what you need .

They have the full range of their own brand Soltan lotions at the airport and the same offers as online and on the high street.

WH Smith at the airports often have an offer on for free water if you buy a paper and such, often the best deal for water in the lounge.

Just make sure you leave enough space and weight allowance in your hand luggage to accommodate everything you plan to buy airside.
    Some airlines are very strict.

At first I thought this thread was a bit OCD , but it's actually not a bad idea. Obviously you'll need lots of suntan lotion in the Caribbean , and it saves the weight in your case. I buy mine from tk maxx as I like Lancaster and it's a lot cheaper from
    Them.

I generally take a bottle of water to the airport and drink it before security. Once you've passed security you can fill it up at free filtered water taps (located near the toilets) at several airports (certainly Heathrow).

Perhaps in your experience, but not in my own past experience where we've seen either sizes or factors not available (we usually travel from Gatwick).

The other thing is that we have a not particularly easy trip to Gatwick - we need to get a bus/cab to a Tube station at the end of the line, then the Tube to St Pancras and finally the train to Gatwick. So another consideration is not having to lug extra stuff with us.

We're travelling from the North Terminal in two weeks time. You're obviously happy to leave it til the airport, but we're not. By ordering online and collecting after security we know for sure that we will be either getting all items that we want (plus the other toiletries) or know that we need to make a contingency plan before we go if they don't have them - there's no guarantees when leaving it until the airport, hence why we don't want to take that risk. You've answered my question though anyway in an indirect way because you bought while there and took it onto the plane.
