De-cluttering is going very well yesterday I done the kitchen and conservatory, so just the study to do today, got rid of a load at the charity shop and another load to go today, I will feel better once its done its kind of Autumn cleaning !
Hugs to TA and Lainey xx
Have good days all xx0 -
Morning everyone,
Hugs to those in need especially Lainey and TA.
Another lovely sunny day here. Autumn is my favourite season and according to the Met Office it starts today!
I am up early as my tumble drier is due to be delivered. I thought that I was going to have to wait all day but I received a text yesterday that said that it would be delivered between 8 and 11 which means that I can go for a walk this afternoon, maybe I can persuade one of the children to go with me.:)
I have a bag of apples that a friend dropped off to prepare for the freezer so that should keep me busy this morning.
Have a lovely day everyone.:)0 -
Morning all, the Internet has eaten my words.
Thank you for the thread Hester.
Another bright, lovely day here, not too hot, just perfect. Unfortunately I now have nobody to do reverse burgling so the washing will have to go on racks. OHand DS are out for the day. They are combining an orthotics visit in another city with a look around and have taken an enormous picnic. I do mean enormous, enough for an army but I bet they eat it all up.
I have work to get on with so am going to make a start in minute.
Hope everyone has a good day.I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back0 -
Morning everyone!
Well, its my birthday today.....don't know how I got to be as old as 49....I'm certainly not that old in my head!
Youngest DD is working all day so will have a nice tea together when she gets home. We're going to Newcastle together tomorrow for a meal and some shopping...as she has a day off from both jobs.
She gave me my presents last night as she was going out just after 7 this morning. She bought me a lovely Cath Kidston bag, a dvd, new books, and a pretty duvet cover and fluffy blanket to match ( to stop me pinching hers!). Told her she'd spent too much on me....'shush mum I like buying presents'
Eldest DD messaged me from Holland at half 6 this morning to say Happy Birthday; we'll have a skype chat later when she's finished work.
Going for coffee with mum and dad this morning, then I 've an appointment to get my hair cut later. I was meant to get it done last week but I was ill, so it looks awful now.
Lovely and sunny this morning, but the forecast is for it to change later.
Had a lovely afternoon yesterday chatting with my friend I haven't seen for ages. We both have 2 girls the same ages, who played together all the time when they were little, were in the same classes and are still friends. Her youngest starts uni in a few weeks. We were congratulating ourselves on getting them all grown up and ready to face the world....without too many mishaps along the way and lots of funny stories. We were saying that we still feel the same age as when they were all little girls.
Well better get the dishes washed up and sorted.
Hope everyone has a good day0 -
Morning :hello:
redruby Hopefully the police were moving them on  Mr tru was approached a while back, he told the bloke where to go too. He wandered off towards his mate, who was standing near the main road and they both went over to the other field where there was a dog agility class. Mr tru couldn't warn them because taking Scampi over to all those dogs would've been a nightmare, so he rang the police and the woman he spoke to contacted all the local dog clubs, who in turn shared it all over FB.
Was just about to load the washing machine when a friend dropped by to pick something up. I left the basket in the hall, we were in the kitchen, Scampi had rooted through the washing and came wandering in with my bra in his mouth. I thought it was hilarious, male friend didn't know where to look
Hopefully I won't see anyone today, I need to get on with things. I have some work to do then I need to vacuum and dust. There's no washing to do but plenty of clean clothes to sort and put away. It'll probably take me all day, Scampi is doing well at ignoring people when we're in the front garden so I'm going to take him out there every hour or so, for 15 minutes at a time. He's no longer a beginner, he's intermediate

Morning all,
TA hope the results are good when you get them xx
Happy Birthday Dp1:bdaycake:
RR & tru, before we moved here last year, one of my dogwalking friends said I'd better look out for Ly1a being stolen for a fighting dog as there is a notorious estate on the far (thankfully) side of the park, and a field that regularly gets travellers moving onto it illegally.I'd never even thought about it till he mentioned it but kept a wary eye out for ages.It doesn't bear thinking about-she's such a wimp & doesn't like strange men.
She is currently lying under the table to hide herself away from the sight of the digger right outsideI dont know what I'm gong to do with her for the next few months while they are mending the road, the really heavy stuff hasnt started yet, there is going to be a hole dug right outside our house about 12ft wide and 20ft deep to put a chamber in to hopefully stop the flooding & they say it'll be very noisy
The leaves are starting to change colour here, certainly been a poor summer for us,but I am also doing an Autumn clean & declutter.Roast chicken for tea.I want to nip into town once a delivery has arrived and get some more jeans from Pri mark as mine are getting too big now :j
Hilstep hope you are feeling better now x
Have a good day xxx:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)0 -
Good morning everyone
It's a bright morning here and I already have the ceiling fans on as I am hot< my face this morning when I got up
.
Hubby has gone off to work and the girls are upstairs supposedly tidying their bedrooms and sorting washing. I have been organised this morning and filled the slowcooker with a morrocan lamb casserole. I nearly forgot to turn it on though at the wall so that would have been embarrassing.
My lovely CMHT lady has been and gone. She couldn't persuade me outside today so we just sat and chatted. She will be coming on Monday to take me back to therapy which I am not really looking forward too.
Happy Birthday Dp1, hope you have a lovely day x
Coxy, I hope your DH's interview goes well.
I hope you have a great time at your BBQ Gers and the weather is kind.
Finger's crossed for the TA's that the treatment goes well and the journey is smooth. I have also got grandchildren sleeping over tonight and although they are lovely, I am just so tired when they have gone back home.
Hope you all have a great day whatever you are up to, take care xx0
