    My guess is that the percentage of social housing quoted was a minimum required by the LA, before they gave permission to develop, rather than a promise to have only that amount.

    OP is lucky, Mid Sussex stipulate a MINIMUM of 30% social housing for developments of 15 dwellings or more.

    That is before selling additional housing to social landlord associations because the private buyers aren't there
