  • I always buy their sliced malted bloomer and keep it in the freezer - easy for teens to grabs for toast :)

Don't buy bread but hubby likes their wholemeal rolls 4 for about 39p, for his packed lunches.

Their tortilla wraps are a great buy too and make tasty quesadillas. He might like them as much as cheese on toast. They freeze well too.

What hell are quesadillas? I'm picturing a wee sort of cute version of an armadillo..
  • :rotfl: Mar a quesadilla is far more delicious than an armadillo. It comprises of a wrap folded in half (or use two wraps) with melted cheese inside of it. You can add things like salsa, meat etc. or just have plain cheese. We don't buy much bread, this week we got one of their tiger loaves unsliced. I don't know if it is nice or not but it is a bit large if only the RV eats it.

Most cuisines have versions of the same thing. Quesadillas are a version of a pasty, just like lasagne or moussaka are versions of cottage pie.

Another vote here! Very more-ish and only 99p for a good size loaf

I need Sainsbugs for Lactofree milk.

You don't need Sainsurys as Aldi sell lactose free milk.
