I get diced beef / chicken thighs great for a casserole- you can get the bags of prepped casserole veg from them too so you can just chuck in a dish or slow cooker.

I've started using Mysupermarket lately and its great how you can compare the prices from the different supermarkets.

Unfortunately although Aldi is on mysupermarket only a fraction of what they sell is on there IMO. Don't let that put you off, you'll get most of your shop there at good prices. The Super 6 will be available tomorrow so then you can see whether you want any of those.
It depends on your list. There's only one thing I can't get at Aldi, and that is vegetable stock cubes.

I also low carb, and the way all the Aldi stores are set up means you have to walk through a tunnel of high carb goodies before you get to the veg! Their 80% chocolate is very acceptable (I am starting from the entrance door). Then you get to the super 6 which is always good value (unless it's Kale of course). All fruit and veg generally good and bagged salads much much cheaper than the other stores. Cream, cheese etc. all generally good but I don't much like their full fat yogurt (if you buy it). Mackerel, etc good and hot smoked salmon very nice indeed. Meat generally OK but I am fortunate enough to have a Lidl equally close and I think they take some beating. Also Aldi chuck out their short-dated stuff whereas Lidl drop it to 30% off a couple of days before. £45 per week at Sainsbugs? I would expect all our red wine and cleaning stuff at least in there.

A friend has just done this after her shop for a family of four was creeping up to £120 at Asda. It was also taking 90-120 minutes to go round a huge store over two floors.

She used the same list in Aldi, was out for less than an hour and spent £53.

She has now shopped there for 5 weeks and the savings are paying for a family weekend away as an end of school holidays treat.

I haven't noticed lacto free in Aldi but maybe the way to go is to find someone else who does a Sains delivery and add yours on in bulk (as far as the use by dates go) and get the rest of your stuff elsewhere in RV guise.
